Gerri Harrison Financial Services offers college financial aid assistance.
We can estimate your expected family contribution (what the government legally thinks you can pay). We look for legal ways to reduce this EFC – whether it is shifting income or re-aligning assets. You can impact the amount of aid that you are receiving.
We expertly prepare the federal financial aid form, FAFSA and if necessary the CSS Profile. We can assist in preparing school specific forms. We review award letters that you receive from colleges and help you interpret the results.
Completing financial aid forms correctly and timely will insure that you receive the maximum aid possible. Knowing what to include and not include may mean the difference of thousands of dollars of aid or in the type of aid being received.
If necessary we can assist in finding loan opportunities and help complete loan applications.
We are available year round for any assistance you may need.
During the fall season each year we offer college financial aid seminars to help you learn the financial aid process. If you can gather a group of twelve to fifteen together we will do a special seminar for you anytime. Call to arrange.
